Hello all! My apologies for such silence over this past year. This is due to personal activities in my family that have kept me quite occupied for much of 2017. However, that does not mean that I did not take time to have a little fun.
Stacy and I checked off several things on our bucket list this year when we embarked on a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea. We had a wonderful time enjoying the cultures of the Adriatic and Aegean Seas, visiting places in Italy, Greece, Albania and Croatia. Our Memorial Day weekend in Venice was particularly enjoyable.
Now, back to music. I have the privilege of singing at a friend's wedding yet again this year. I will be performing at the wedding ceremony of Katie Rollins and Ryan Weber at the beautiful Sunset Hills Country Club in Carrollton, GA this coming Saturday, November 18th, singing Bryan Adams' "Here I Am" from the DreamWorks film "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron". I will also be providing general music during the ceremony and will be DJ'ing the reception, so double duty for Stacy and I!
I will also be singing a solo and duet part as part of OMPC's (my church) Christmas program, "The Heavens Declare", with the song being "No Eye Had Seen" by Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant. What an honor to be singing such a worshipful song and to life up the name of Christ the King with fellow believers!
Please pray for added humility as I prepare and perform, and that I would sing for God's glory alone, not mine.
